Hello everybody,

I'm currently working on a java (1.4.2) project calling a Oracle9i db with pl/sql stored procedure.
One of the stored proc I need to call takes a <tablename>%ROWTYPE as argument. (the concerned table contains more than 100 fields ).

Does anyone know a method to call such a store procedure thru JDBC ?
( i.e. what type of Java objects maps the %rowtype of PL/SQL)

Thanks in advance for your light and help.

Hi Pascal,

As far as I know you can't do it through the standard JDBC API. I would suggest checking out the documentation for your Oracle JDBC driver (ideally a native one) as it may provide extensions to access such Oracle-specific features.

I agree. Here's the link:

It's not a secret anymore!
