Hi All

I have a problem with accessing the meta-data of the table created by me as 'scott' user.
when i do a 'getColumns' for the Database meta-data, giving table name as the one i created , i get a null ResultSet.

But i can all the System/Oracle-specific cols listed through getColumns, excluding those of the tables created by me.

It is possible that 'Database.getMetaData' doesnot recognise the tables created by me from SQLPlus.(I have done a commit)

Please help, im stuck

Thank you
Regards

Just a wild guess here but is there a chance you need to append scott. (schema name) to the name of the table(s)? This ould apply if you're using another userid that does not have privileges in the scott. schema.

For example scott.mytable instead of just mytable
