Can some one help me I'm having trouble with WL JNDI look up returning
a warning when i deploy

"Did not find resource-ref in web.xml matching MySQLactivate."

I have create the datasource in WL console as follows..

Name: MySQLactivate
JNDI Name repaidactivate

And I get a naming exception as follows when I run the code....

javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: While trying to lookup 'jdbc.prepaidactivate' didn't find subcontext 'jdbc' Resolved ; remaining name 'jdbc/prepaidactivate'

If some one can see where I am going wrong would be a big help

In WL, datasources are bound directly in the root of the jndi tree (that's the default case anyway), so in your deployment descriptor you should specify the jndi name of the datasource without 'jdbc/'.

Admit nothing. Blame everyone. Be bitter.
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
