I am able to connect to the database server with the configurations using jdbc connections. But sometimes i am getting the sql exception that "Io exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection". I think the database server is not able to connect sometimes. I am not able to find the solution for it. Find me the solution for this asap.

Welcome to JavaRanch!
You are correct that you are sometimes having connectivity issues. Is there any pattern for when the error occurs? If it occurs once, does it work if you try again right away?

Hi
I am also facing same type of problem
enviroment
Weblogic
vj++ for connecting to Oracle
Application is quite stable for the last two years , this problem occurs but automatically removed after four five seconds , but for the few weeks this issues arises and resolved only after restarting the server . i could not able to find the solution for this problem
