I feel to attract you into their company HR/Management will tell so many things. It seems they have lot of hidden rules to allot your shares. So just for stock options dont join in the company. Think in other angles also.
And more over what ever statements the founder doing is not sink. I suggest you dont rely on stocks at all. Its risky. Good Luck [ December 02, 2005: Message edited by: KJ Reddy ]
Keeping in mind we only have your side of the story, it sound s like you're being played. I'd run away. Stocks with no paperwork are worse than toilet paper since the paper isn't even soft.
