Jdbc/Mysql dropped tcp connections

Has anyone out there had any problems with Mysql causing dropped tcp connections? My hosting service is implying that my database connections are causing this to happen, in spite of the fact that the dropped connections only started about two weeks ago and my code has not changed since 5/10/2004. I suspect they are trying to "blow sunshine up my skirt". Anyone else think this? ;0)

Thanks

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
