patni or mastek?

I am fresher SCJP 96%,
I got patni mumbai, and mastek pune.

which one to go for.

patni 2 yr bond.
mastek pays 2.4l, patni dont know but around 1.6l.

what you people suggest!!!

I heard this from many of my friends who worked in Patni. Morevoer they wont pay much.

how did u get both offer as a fresher .
have u given some walkin or direct interview .
if u are experienced I can thought, u got two offer simuntaneously ,
anyway join that company which has no bond .

Just consider the pros & cons of each!!!

Mastek:
1) Much better pay, close to industry average
2) No bond
3) Comparatively relaxed work schedule
4) OK onsite opportunities

Patni:
1) Good if you are not ready to leave Mumbai (assuming you are based in Mumbai)
2) Good onsite opportunities
3) Heard that the training they give is comparable to the best in the industry
4) Pathetic pay
5) As already mentioned by fellow ranchers - really hectic schedules, you just won't have a social life
6) The bond - just not worth it


IMHO, Mastek should be a much better bet. Go for it!!!
