how to read few records at a time?

I have 100,000 records. I dont want to get all records in to resultset at a time. So what procedure I have to follow. Is execute qury returns all records at a time to resultset object?

use where clause in your select query

A pattern like Value list handler might help you.

Try sorting the query and use of TOP and appropriate where on primary key to get as many records as needed.

TOP is used in sql server like

SELECT TOP (5) * FROM MyTable
