Hi

I get the below SQL Exceeptions.I am using Wehsphere embedded SQL Driver.

1. "no more data available to read"

2.com.abcea.framework.dao.ConnectionException: java.sql.SQLException: [IBM][SQLServer JDBC Driver][IBM][SQLServer JDBC Driver]The requested instance is either invalid or not running.

Can anyone give me fix

The requested instance is either invalid or not running

First think I'd check is whether your SQL server instance is running...

I'd also check the DRiver and database versions, sometimes you can have problems if they're not the same.

Please try to be more descriptive in your thread topics.

yes David ,

I am using WAS as my App server and Websphere IBM embedded SQL Server
JDBC driver.

I have a DAO which calls the SP's running on the microsoft SQL server 2000.
When my application is accessed my multiple users the comes the problems
Below listed are most frequent.(All these just occur randamly can't reproduce always)

1.No more data available to read"
2.SP_sqlexecute:1 blocked"(I get this to see in my SQL analyser when ever i get JDBC SQLException lke "resources blocked" etc.Which just hangs my application
3.java.sql.SQLException: [IBM][SQLServer JDBC Driver][IBM][SQLServer JDBC Driver]The requested instance is either invalid or not running.
