if you are scared why did you forward your resume
Go with Confidence man..From my interview experience what I have understood is All these companies ask a standard set of interview questions...just google for j2ee & java interview questions and prepare on that..Be confident on whatever project u have done so far...
Most of the companies ask the same set of questions again and again except some good companies like thoughtworks, google or microsoft..
IBM is recruiting in hoardes...So u have good chance of making it..All the best and do post about your interview tomorrow.. [ January 05, 2006: Message edited by: Vetti Payan ]

It makes me wonder sometimes why they even bother inviting people if they can already tell from the resume that someone does not have any experience yet in a particular area. Surely, if you would have had j2ee experience, you would have mentioned it.
It just shows to me that they are not very careful about their recruiting process if they don't even read resumes properly.
Cheers Erik

hi erik
PASS AND FAILURE this is just a matter of luck. in india , big compainies generally gives training. they generally check aptitude , and whether person can learn technology.
i know many peoples have done scwcd scbcd certification. but some of them cant even write a simple program in core java . karthik is good in core java , so ibm gave him a chance.

Hi Erik, it happens many times in India. The HR people who shortlist the resume wont understand what exactly project requirement and what the resume really stands.
It's all makes your statment true that they are not very careful about their recruiting process. The HR people just looks if some jargon words like Java, EJB, J2EE are present in resume or not. [ January 08, 2006: Message edited by: KJ Reddy ]

I have meet several people who write that they are proficient in EJB and when I ask them some simple EJB question they say that haven't worked on EJB.Why do people write that they know something when they havent worked on - I think they want to get interview calls and try their luck. I am sacred even to write technologies that I have worked on for years.

True. I too met several people like that. Some people keep different technologies even they dont have knowledge. But I feel nothing wrong if you put technolgies in which you have some knowledge and even you didnt worked.

It w'd have been nice had you asked what are the good to have j2ee skills. Either way,if you want to get HR attracted go ahead and add hibernate, spring, maven as well but if somebody rips you apart in the interview do not blame me
