Hi

Please tell me the difference between PreparedStatement and Statement.

I know PreparedStatement represents the precompiled SQL statement, But i donno when it will be compiled..

Please help me to clear.

Since I am new to JDBC, tell me the good book or website to get the clear concepts of jdbc.
