Mysql and Oracle are two completely different RDBMS products; they're alternatives. You use one or the other. What do you need to do, exactly?

I have no experience setting up Oracle on any platform, but I did a quick Google and I reckon the Oracle Linux Technology Center may be of help to you:

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
