He all!

I have a java-application on Linux, and i want to make this application to communicate with a postgresql database. How can i setup my JDBC driver on Linux, so mt application can see my database?

On Windows is very easy with JDBC/ODBC but on Linux

Thanks everyone!

Hi,

Welcome to Java Ranch.

You need to use a Postgres JDBC driver rather than the JdbcOdbc driver. The rest of your code should be the same, i.e. you shouldn't need to change it for different drivers.

Have a look at this.
