insert problem in oracle

Using the code above i tried to insert into oracle database.neither i am getting any error nor the data is going to the database.Can anyone help me out.

Do the println statements display anything? Do you know that the select stmt returns something?

setAutoCommit to true, all do connection.commit when finish
