Hi ranchers,
Could somebody help me with this..
1.Create a CLOB Object from String.I do not have a connection Object at this point
2.Any link to demonstrate setCLOB method

Ann,
I usually use setAsciiStream() because to use setClob() you need a CLOB. The CLOB is usually a database specific implementation.

What would you do with the CLOB if you don't have a connection?
