I am trying to connect with MSDE using this class:

i get this error :

Got an exception!
[Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Unable to connect. Invalid URL.

Could anyone tell me how to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Consult the documentation for your driver for the correct form for your url. I think you are missing the name of the database (catalog/schema/etc) you want to connect to.

Hi Maximilan,
The syntax was ok, the problem was with the TCP/IP connection. It just had to be enabled and things worked fine after that.
