What do you mean file? Is it a BLOB or CLOB field or a link to an actual XML file?

Hi

Its type is sys.xmltype.

i can able to get all the column if i use extractValue() function in oracle and i give get the result based on id, or name.

but i want to get result base on empID(which is a tag property in XML file)
