Dear All,

I am having a store proc in backend (SQL Server) & instead of calling the store proc from java program ( through Callable) i want to make a function in java, which can be called without callable....

Please help me to provide solution by providing source code

Thanks

It seems that you are handling some complicated calculations in Stored Procedures and now intending to achieve it from within Java itself.

Even in the second case, you MUST make at least a SELECT operation in order to get the data over which you will iterate, read, ignore, add , multiply etc. and do your tasks.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
