I am using getColumns method of databasemetadata which returns resultset.
This resultset returns information about each columns as seperate rows.I want to iterate through these rows.
please note that I am not using any preparedStatement or createstatement methods.
Please tell me how to make this resultset scrollable.
Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to the JDBC tutorial:

http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/jdbc/

Notice how that page contains the words "scrollable result set", so that should help you to find the information.

By the way I don't keep that link anywhere, when I want to find it I type "jdbc tutorial" into my favourite search engine and it pops up as the first result. You can go a long way with that technique.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
