Regarding IBM

Hi All,

I am new to forum. I attended interview with IBM on 28.01.2006 and completed technical and HR round too. After a week consultant who referred me and said IBM has selected me. Until then, I have no response from either consultant or from IBM.

One of my friend who joined there said, IBM takes too much time for sending offer letter, is it true? I welcome any views and ideas on this?

Your friend is right. I got an offer from IBM after 2.5 months of the first interview and my second round of interview happened after almost 2 months. BTW , which center of IBM did you get interviewed?

Mostly this companies recruit people in bulk and not on basis of project in hurry. So they do take time. Your consultant is the best person to follow up.

Even I have attended the interview on 28.01.2006 at Hyderabad.Didnt get the letter till now.

Today I got call from my consultant, she said that I will receive the offer letter within ten days. She confirmed from IBM. Are you from Hyderabad? I am also Telugu.

Give me your number if you don't have objection, I want to talk to you regarding IBM offer in detail.

I am with IBM ,It takes arnd a week or so or they might not have selected you or try calling the HR theyd be of help to u

I was done with both the rounds the same day and in HR, my package as well as the joining date was discussed.

Even the concerned person told tht u r almost selected and he shall get back to me in a day r 2.But no response form them till date.

After a week my consultant called me and told tht Iam selected but it may take some time to get the offer letter.

So what are ur views on this?Is there a chance of not getting selected even after the package and joining date discussion?
