Hi,

I have an auto increment column in my database. I am planning to modify the column using servlets. I want to know, will modifying the column effect my already existing table data ?

Thanks.

This would depend on how you're implementing the auto-increment.
No matter how you're doing it, it isn't going to be servlet specific so I'll move this to the JDBC forum where the DB gurus reside.
