Isn't a left outer join the same as a right outer join.. just a matter of order. If there was no right outer join, you could reorder the tables and do what you need with the left. Correct?

It's often nice to standardize on using just one or the other in your code, to make the queries a little more consistent and thereby more readable, but that's certainly optional.
