hi all.
I was wondering if some one could give me some valuable feedback as to what is a reasonable salary expectation for a college student with scjp & scjd and 1.5 to 2 years workin with j2ee in the maryland/dc region

It could be anywhere from around $40-90k depending on your school, your experience, and your industry/employer. Government jobs, for example pay low; classified work done by a government contractor pays much better. A degree from a top school carries much more value than a degree from a community college. There are always some companies that hire a junior developer to do some basic back office web development at a low rate, and others that hire only the top 0.1% and pay appropriately. You communication and interview skills will also greatly impact your potential salary.

Can you give us more information.
