i am getting the bellow exception when there is rollBack() state ment in my code.

java.sql.SQLException: Cannot call Connection.rollback in distributed transaction. Transaction Manager will commit the resource manager when the distributed transaction is committed. at weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.JTSConnection.rollback

may i know the meaning for the exception.

This isn't really a "Distributed Java" question, even though "distributed" is mentioned in the error... The error is because your transaction depends on more than 1 "resource" - either your transaction spans multiple databases, or you're using JMS and the transaction spans both the database and the JMS message store.

Moving to the JDBC forum, since it's really more about transactions and SQL...
