Which database are you using? Sun maintains a database of JDBC drivers.

You need a jdbc specific to your database. There's no such thing as 'any old jdbc driver'. Please answer Ulf's question.

One possible driver -the JDBC/ODBC bridge- comes as aprt of the JDK. Read all about it here.
