hi all
i am new to jdbc as well as to other topics like servlets,jsps,webservices,jndi,ejbs etc.
can anyone suggest me any good links,good books on these topics in order to get acquainted as well as master them.

Sun has many tutorials available.
Head First Servlets and JSP does a good job covering, well, servlets and jsp.
