Hi,

My Query is : I need to get connected to the database using an id which is running on a Solaris machine form a java program.

The OS that we are using is : Solaris And the database is Oracle 10g.
The process that we follow normally is : Load the ClassLoader using Class.forName(); then establish a connection using DriverManager.getConnection("url","",""); in the above we pass the user name and password as parameters but, my requirement is that get a connection object without providing the password. hope i am clear.

Thanks in advance.

cheers

Sambasiva,
Please don't post the same question multiple times. There is much valuable information in your original thread. Feel free to ask for more details there rather than just restating the question. I'll close this copy for you.
