Hi Friends,

How Can i use the weblogic pooling system in my application.
That means i want to use the connection pool of weblogic which is used by the weblogic to maintain the server.
Is it possible? If yes could you please give me the clear picture..How can i proceed.

As far as I know, app servers (like WebLogic) don't write their own connection pooling code. They use the connection pool of the driver.

You could instantiate an OracleConnectionPool (or the equivalent for your database) and use that.

I think you can definately do this.
goto weblogic console & define a connection pool.You can find it under services.Then create a datasource & map it to this connection pool.give a JNDI name to you datasource.
Now you can get this datasource using the given JNDI name through your code.

doing something like this

Context myContext = new InitialContext();
ds = (javax.sql.DataSource) myContext.lookup("Enter JNDI name given to data source here");
Connection con = ds.getConnection();
