how can we store the data of one record into collection and retrieve from that

Hi Nath,
Please be clear about your askance.Do you want each of the resultset records, as a whole, will be stored into Collection object? In that case, resultset.next() only moves block wise, as like in chessboard. It will complete traversing all columns in a row, and then move to the next row...resultset can't capture the row itself, unless you are writing the SQL query (obvoiusly, in a PL/SQL block) to return you a %ROWTYPE data, not the columns.
