I won't presume to speak to anyone's original intent in that thread, but in any case, it was a year-old thread with little useful content that was woken up by what was basically a spam reply. This was followed by so much random spluttering and bloviating that it would be far more work than it is worth to clean up the original possibly questionable comment -- although personally I think it was being misinterpreted -- so I have tossed the whole thread into the trash. So in any case, the comment that offended you is gone.
