my compiler is giving "drivernotfound exception" .I am using oracle thin for connection.Its any prob regarding the import package?
I hav imported java.sql.*; is thr anything more to be imported.
I am using oracle 9i app server
I am a new devloper and hav little knowladge in it.Please help

No, you don't need to import anything more. If you did, you would see a compiler exception, not a runtime exception.

You need to add he Oracle driver to the classpath of your application. Have a read of the JDBC documentation that comes with Oracle, this covers this fully and includes examples.

(It would be appreciated if you took a look at this too)
