But it is giving compile time error.Writing that the class is not found.Again it also gives error
Connection c = DriverManager.getConnection(DBCONNECTION ,USERNAME,PASSWORD)

OK. If the compiler is complaining about Connection then yes, you need to import java.sql.Connection.
