Connecting with Oracle Thin Driver

Hi,

How can we connect our java application with oracle Thin Driver.My application is working fine with JDBC-ODBC bridge.As soon as i use thin driver,i am getting connection refused,although i made all the necessary changes as required.

Please help.

If your connection is being refused, check the permissions your user has and double check you are using the right credentials to get the connection.

It might help if you could post:

1. The exact code you use to connect, expecially the connection URL
(should be just a few lines: the 'Class.forName...', the 'DriverManager.getConnection...' ).

2. The exact error message your get (stack trace).
