I m using Derby and working on the NetworkServer mode.
I have trouble starting Server through "startNetworkServer.bat" that is located under %DERBY_INSTALL%\frameworks\NetworkServer\bin, I ve set DERBY_INSTALL and added (derby.jar, derbytools.jar,derbynet.jar) to CLASSPATH as well, also JAVA_HOME is set to my JRE bin folder.

Command error:
JAVA_HOME not set or could not find java executable in JAVA_HOME.
Please set JAVA_HOME to the location of a valid Java installation.

I guess you should set the JAVA_HOME to your JRE folder instead of JRE\bin folder.

"Nems", you have previously been warned on one or more occasions regarding adjusting your display name to meet JavaRanch standards. This is not optional. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it prior to your next post.

Your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Be aware that accounts with invalid display names are removed.
