Dear all,

can somebody please explain step by step on writing a sql query that gives results when user enters a parameter in textbox and submits.
using WHERE or LIKE in sql, prepared statement or any other will be helpful.
results could either be displayed in same page or in new page.
database - MySQL
development tool - sun java studio creator
but i want description about all this to be done in sun java studio creator.

i have seen travel center example from sun it explains using drop down. it would be helpful if somebody also give info about advance tutorials about sun studio.

thanks in advance

Anand,
Are you looking for how to write JDBC code or is this a question about using the IDE?

Anand,
In that case, your question would go better in our IDEs forum where someone is likely to have used Java Studio Creator. I'll move the thread for you.
