Not sure if this Q belongs to this forum:
To find the encoding of a particular table or schema in DB2 the following queries help:
SELECT ENCODING_SCHEME FROM SYSIBM.SYSTABLES WHERE NAME = 'mytable' or SELECT distinct encoding_scheme FROM SYSIBM.SYSTABLES WHERE creator='GIBFCIA'
But how to find the version of the encoding, i.e., if it is UTF-8 or UTF-16?
