Viewing Stored Procedure in SQL plus

I can't believe this is happening to me, but I cant see the code for a particular stored procedure in SQL plus!!
what is the command to do so?
obviously desc procedure_name; isnt working for me!
I've looked all over the place and every website teaches you to create procedures, but how on earth do I view an already written one!!??

or if you want to get code of your package

select text from user_source where name = '<package_name>';
