java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: java/util/logging/Formatter

Which JDK are you using? The exception tells you that the above class cannot be found, which suggests you are running JDK 1.3.

Hi Paul,

I have changed my jdk version. I have tried it with jdk 1.4. It is giving
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: (Unsupported major.minor version 48.0)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(Native Method)

and error 500 in the browser saying that exception creating the bean.

can you help me out in resolving this issue.

Thanks in Advance

This error comes when there the JDK is different in your compile and run time.
To be precise i think your run time uses the lesser version og JDK.

change to jdk 1.5 and restart the webserver you are using. I hope it will resolve the matter.
