Depends. If you are sure staying more won't help you at all then you should leave, don't hung around. Just ensure you don't make this a habit.

It won't help you or strengthen your case for sure.

Karhik, You mean Infosys gave you 3.5 lackhs more to your current salary?

What will be the guarantee that you will be going onsite thru Infosys? Why dont you try from your current company.

But whatever the reason changing a company in 6 months will leave bad remark in your resume.

Hi,

I think 2 years of exp. is ok to change to a new company.

But think about the work you are going to get there.

Afterwards, you should not repent.

but what if the work is not good at all in current co. ?

i know you will say what is the guarantee to get good work in next co. ?
but what if there is gurantee to get good work ?
but still i have the experience of 6 months in my current company and my next company can be TSC Chenniai and expected to get good work...?
but what if i wanted to settle in US later ?
will it effect in getting US visa ? if a person has experience less then 1 year in any of the company throught his carrer ? or explain the places where I may suffer becasue of change of job earlier then 1 year ?

If you do not have any other options just go ahead and make sure that you stay for long time in your next time. Before joining take a strong decision that you do not change the company atleast for next 2 years whatever happens. Your attitude, consistency pays you more then any thing else.

Too many companies in your resume may effect, but cases like first 6 months in one company and next 2 or 3 year in another company will not have any effect.

Good luck
