Am new to jsf.. i am trying to access a database(mysql) using jsf.. i got a code for a site. but when i am trying to access it am getting an error please any body could help me to get out of the chaos.

am using a contex.html file..
and erro am getting is a convertion error.. i think i am not getting the conext file right...

Well you code would be in backing beans in Java, and not a JSF issue. I am going to move this thread to the JDBC forum. Also, can you post your configuration and code?
