Solid DB update problem

I have a problem updating a table in SolidDB. If I call the same stored procedure from command line on db it works. Even in java after commit is shows the new value but its not actually getting reflected. After I close the session. If I use java to query again it shows me the old value. Can some one tell me why this may happen.
