Hi All,

Please help me understand what JT400 jar is used for. I have come to know that it has few things to do with JDBC, hence posting this question here. Moderators, Please move it to the appropriate section, if this is not the right section to place this question.

Have you been through the JT400 Sourceforge page?

Yes, I went through it. But I'm looking for basic information like :

1. What is it used for?
2. Is it the IBM tool box for java?
3. Is it an executable file?

I don't think you can have read that page very carefully. There isn't a lot of information on it to distract you from the fact that the first sentence says
JTOpen contains most of the source code of the popular product, IBM Toolbox for Java
This appears to me to relate directly to your question number 2.

And if you click on the "Overview" button on that page, it gives you an overview of the product that answers your other questions explicitly.

I got a little confused with all these names - JT400, JTOpen, IBM tool box.
