oracle oci connection-entry point kpufhndl0 could not be located

hi, a question for those of you working with oracle tools.
i try to connect to oracle's db from jdeveloper.
a thin connection works fine, but i have to use an oci connection which i fail to set.
i've edited jdev.conf file as described here:
and added AddNativeCodePath pointing to oracle installation directory.
but an attempt to
a connection returns an error saying "The procedure entry point kpufhndl0 could not be located in the dynamic link library OCI.dll".

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link:
