help needed in jdbc

i am doing a update query.when i am clicking the update button its updating in the database but when i am again calling the values in the next page its showing me the old values.what can be the problem???

please do help

When you do the calling in the next page, are you querying (select) the database to reflect the new data? My guess is you're using some session variable to store the old data and when you move to the next page you're using the same old data.
