Any guy, as dumb as me, can tell which company you are referring to. You have given enough hints in your post.

Dinesh, the post indirectly mentioning that you need information about IBM software labs. That is the reason why moderators deleted the post.

Jaikiran Pai ,

The Rule is not to explicitly mention the name of a company but you can give hints

I believe you are mistaken. You may not ask direct questions about any company, whether you name the company directly or provide so many hints as to remove any doubt. Post cannot relate directly to a company whether you name them or not.

That's KILROY WAS HERE.
You missed that capitalized and bold space character.

And, by the way, I was the one who trashed your post.
We're not going to keep updating the wording of the policy everytime someone finds a new loophole to get around it.
Since the policy has started people have given out the address of companies, the name of the company's flagship product, and now the number of letters in their name. All of these posts were closed or removed.

We don't want those discussions to take place here.

I think the rule is pretty clear - you are not supposed to identify the company. You did, trying to be "cute" or "clever".

You got caught.

Your post was deleted for violating the rules.

How is being punished (your post got removed) for breaking the rule (don't identify the company) an injustice?

if ANYTHING, i'd say justice WAS served, and you got off light.

Just to make the very, very clear: the intent of the rule is that you should not ask questions about specific companies. That's it.

The soul is dyed the color of its thoughts. Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. The content of your character is your choice.
