Type 2 dirvers

while i am using type2 drivers to connect database it says import oracle.jdbc.driver.*; is not found. what is the problem.

Do you have those classes/packages in the classpath?

Sounds like your compile (Eclipse?) does not have access to the JDBC library. You should consult whatever tool your using to compile it and verify the jar exists and is in the class path.
