Dear All,
There is a java standalone application which reads data from a raw file and
inserts into an Oracle database.It is reqiured to improve the performance of this application.
the connection is JDBC.
data is being checked for duplication.
what are the metodolgies to improve the performance of this application?
connection pooling , multithreading.....

There are an unlimited numbers of ways to improve performance in a database application, so you'll need to provide a lot more specifics if you want some help. Is there a specific type of query you're seeing poor performance with?
