Hai friends,
iam facing problem in servlet the following error
java.sql.SQLException RA-1722:invalid number
This is the problem iam facing in servlet in jdbc forum please help somebody

Hai Danish hai dinesh, thanks for your reply i have written query like this: select *from Project_Login where StaffCode=+"Staffcode"+,UserName=+"Username"+,Password=+"Password"+; the record is success fully excuted after that by error and trace method i got next statement excuted after that i have written : At this step iam getting that problem if(rs.next()) { requestdipatcher statement }

Hi rajesh kethepalle welcome to Javaranch,
Please CarefullyChooseOneForum.

Only getting a database error in a servlet does not make it a servlet question.
Someone from the bartenders will move it to a proper place.

And i think the exception is because of the inconsistency in the field type present in the database and the one you are using.

Hi Rajesh

please check whether your coloum is of number datatype and you assign it with string datatype
