Hi,

I am facing problems in inserting unicode data into sql server 2005 from a java file. I have written couple of insert statements in file xyz.sql having some unicode data (chinese characters) and saved it as UTF-8.

I have pre-appended capital N to the Chinese characters.

Now when I execute the sql file from java program , Some junk data is being inserted into the database, and yes, the database is unicode compatible.

The java program is ecexuting the insert statements fine but junk data is being inserted into the couloumn where i am expecting chinese data.

If i execute the particular insert statement in sql server ,chinese is being inserted in the couloumns.

can you please help ?

Thanks,
Srikanth
