Hi All,
I just was wondering why is Javaranch written in CGI and not in Java/JSP??
I would love to contribute to a project that would help us migrate this portal to a Java Based portal.

How do the moderators feel. It could be a really good project for newbies like me. and would help us move our favourite forum site to our favourite technology. Any idea on this one?
We have the best coders from all places in the world. Why not take this up?

On second thought if people are willing to support me then we can take an initiative ourselves and help each other get tihs done on ourself. What say folks? Any helping hands?
